May I Know what is difference R and F function.
Strangely I don't have issues that the other commenters have. I do have issue with the door or hinges in particular. The door don't return to close and I notice the door rubs with the hinge at the bottom. I won't buy this kind of frigde again - too wide and the hinge is too weak to support its weight.
Why am I getting a beeping noise every 15 minutes????

Take my feedback and never buy this Hitachi 6 door fridge made from Japan, this fridge is a foods killer, Hitachi singapore engineer can not solve the water condensation problem, it cost me $2600 to learn the lesson and brought this useless fridge , very sad and disappointed to Hitachi and it’s services staff, useless product.

DO NOT BUY THIS!!!.. after 3 years the door can't be closed.. its too heavy and the hinge cannot support the door weight...now my hitachi is not cooling.. cost me a lot $$$ to repair.
